Lima Peru our last stop in South America!!!!!!

I can't believe we have been in the continent 6 months and I can't speak any more Spanish then when I first arrived. Sad but true. I should have, and could have, but just didn't??? Chris caught on to Spanish quite well and through most of our stay has been doing all the Spanish talking and learning new words, questions and figuring out answers as we've traveled..... Oops!!!

I know it looks like we've been here for ages, but South America is freakin huge with so much diversity between regions we barely saw anything. I had dreams of exploring so many areas, but do to lack of money, energy, and occasionally health we decided to take it a lot easier and in some ways stall until Spring arrived at home :).

One day I hope to come back and hike the mountains, head South to see the massive glaciers, venture in the Amazon..... so much to do. So South America is still on the bucket list of places to see again. You think after almost 4 years of travelling around the world the list would be getting smaller, but the more I see the more I want to see :). And hopefully I'll actually learn some Spanish before coming back.

Now we're heading to Costa Rica in Central America... or I guess officially our first and only stop in North America, before heading home. Time to see some sunshine and beaches before I get home for the next adventure of starting from scratch :). Should be good...
